A successful entry for Padiglione Italia at the 2011 Art Biennale. Tank Bang is a portable room designed to find peace and protection in our tumultuous urban environment! Thanks to the Italian Institute of Culture and to the superinternational Legio Felix that moved the Tank Bang in perfect Synch!

2010 AIDIA Award, We got it!

The Hanok Project was awarded the FIRST PRIZE in the 2010 AIDIA [Asia Interior Design Interior Associations] Residential Building Unit Competition. We, as Koreans ..., defeated 1.300.000.000 Chinese, a handful of cool Japanese designers, not to mention upcoming talents from Thailand, Malaysia and the Philippines!

Marco Simoncelli becomes a Spacetracer!


After a Spacetracing Lecture at RMIT in Melbourne, MOTOElastico visited the 2008 Motorcycle Grand Prix at Phillip Island where we met the future 250 cc world champion Marco Simoncelli. He become an enthusiastic fan of Spacetracing and eventually he won the race and the title on that very same weekend.

Hanok 2009 | the spacetracing cut


A Space-tracing test combining pre-production 3d model with post production photographs. The actual architecture is trapped in between. The reference to Blade Runner is due to the Metropolitan nature of Seoul, the tracing of traditional architecture merging with digital technology. It is not L.A. 2019, but Seoul ten years earlier.

It's humongous!


The new Pavilion for Kyunggi University, in Suwon, unexpectedly breaks the ground in June. It will work as an interface building between the Campus and the nearby Mountain City Park and is scheduled to open on September. The steel structure is gigantic and the all building is humongous! [20080625]

RATIA Xmas gifts

The first Korean store of Ratia, a popular japanese natural cosmetic brand, opened in style in Seoul Cheongdam district. The venue includes a lounge spa and a skin care center and it features a huge 10x12 meters table in white corian, abundantly carved to accommodate a wide range of different programs.

The first "solo" show by MOTOElastico featuring five-cameras videos, 50 interactive backlit panels and 3 models with miniature lights. Must see! [20071006]

Busan Gold Members


During the Busan 2007 IFI Wing workshop organized by Kosid, Marco Bruno together with Kim Chiho, 2 assistants and 15 students from all over Asia worked for a week on a performance called Fragile. The purpose of the piece was to show the unstable conditions of water. The space was filled with more then 300 water filled condoms hanging from the ceiling recalling gigantic water drops. The performance was very successful, we won the first prize! [20070902]
